I use the Ant in Cygwin because it's convenient. Don't try running 
cygwin commands from the windows command line. It won't work. You should 
have a shortcut to Cygwin on your desktop. If not, press the Windows 
key, type cygwin and press enter. This should open Cygwijn's own commans 
line. 

As Chris says, ant will run anywhere, but including all the jars in your 
cloasspath would be a pain.

I'm doing some checkijng. There may be an easy way to build 
BrailleBlaster onn Windows, with all the latest updates.
