When you updated the software on the PC, I think it should have alerted you
the next time you connected the BP to your computer that a firmware update
for the BP, itself, was available. If it didn't, there's a direct download
URL for it.
You can determine the installed versions of both the software and firmware:
* For the software on the PC, open the transfer program, then press ALT+A.
The software version is displayed in the dialog that opens and the beta
version is 1.5.1.15.
* On the Book Port, itself, press A+C. The beta version of the firmware is
announced as 01.01.03.
