Hi! As I stated in a previous message, I am in touch with nextup.com to see
if there's anything they can do to help with this, but I wanted to share
this because it strengthens my theory that the problem seems to be with the
book wizard reader of ATT Mike.
When I uninstall the ATT voices from
nextup.com, it is handled by Windows Installer and works as expected:
completely removing the software from my system. When I uninstall the aph
version of Mike, it only takes a couple of seconds, and windows installer
doesn't appear to be involved. Perhaps this is why the voice is never
removed from the tts tab of the speech aplet in my control panel. I hope
this helps to shed some light on the problem, and thanks again for getting
back to me on this.
