Thanks. It was, but I opened it. I am able to send the files from my
laptop, so I'm emailing them to taht computer. Seems the long way to go
around.The problem must be with my desktop.

I have had k1000 say that the "sellected device cannot be opened." I think it may have to do with the particular file you're trying to send. Is it a ziped file?

I reformated the bookport as suggested. So I lost all my books. Now Kurzweil says the selected device cannot be opened. Any suggestions? Thanks Sally
