Nice list, but at the top of this list I for one, would put an internal
speaker. I know this has been beaten to death on the list, but after owning
the BP for about a month now, that continues to be my one huge wish and I
would gladly pay for the upgrade when and if it is ever available.

I think the Book Port is a wonderful machine, but I also see room for
improvement. If some modifications were made to the hardware, the reality is
I'd be the first to stand in line to take advantage of it and shell out my
money to do so. Here is my list:

Really Nice:
More internal and modern firmware memory, giving the APH firmware developers
more room to allow Book Port to handle various file formats directly instead
of having to have stuff converted by the transfer software, a built-in Grade
2 back-translator, and so on.
2. A battery compartment that better differentiates between the positive and
negative contact points.

2. A physical locking switch.

4. USB 2 speed; with less conversion beind done by the transfer software,
higher speed for the actual transfer would be more noticeable.
5. Plastic cover to fit over the keys for transporting purposes.

Would-Be-Nice-If-I-Lived-In-A-Dream-World Features:
1. AM radio.
2. Facilities for high-quality line-in or mike jack recording, as well as
recording off of said radio.
3. More voice options, such as DecTalk, the kind used in DecTalk USB 4.
Reminder features (appointment calendar).
5. Dishwasher Attachment.
