Most programs install with their help files. Since this program is meant to
be used in conjunction with a computer, it seems reasonable that those files
would install with a reformat. If they didn't, you couldn't use it.

: Hello,
:
: I have never understood the logic behind having those files on every card
: every single time you copy something.
: I just go in and delete them, but wonder if in the software, there is an
: option to check so that those files do not transfer.
: As far as the sale, that is indeed a good price.

:
: I have never formatted a card with Bookport before using it, either.
: Actually, when I used the Transfer tool to send a file to the Bookport
with
: a new compact flash card, I found that the transfer tool had put other
: files, such as the Bookport manual on the card besides the book that I was
: transferring.
:
: BTW: thanks to whomever told us about the sale on the 2GB compact flash
card
: on Zip Zoom Fly. I immediately purchased it because it was a really good
: deal. You can't beat $121 with a $20 rebate and freeshipping
