We pay for Audible; so I guess the publishers aren't quite so concerned.
I never said that made sense.
Also, you can buy books from audiobookstand.com and download them as overdrive, but they only let you copy them three times. If you have an overdrive device with limited memory, and want to reread a book more than three times, say down the road a few years, you're out of luck. The point is, there is a payment catch with audible and a payment and use catch with audiobookstand. When they're free, everyone gets all tied up in knots.
