If someone already owns the BC and wants to use it for text file playback, assuming that the keyboard hasn't given out yet, I don't see any reason aside from the text search capability of newer devices why you would want to get rid or replace the BC. I like the stream because it does everything I'm looking for, but if I liked the Doubletalk I'd still be using the BC for text file reading.

I did not receive an answer to my email months ago either. I think thetreatment the poster got on the phone was rude beyond belief. There is information and a link to a demo of the BookSense at: http://www.gwmicro.com/Support/Knowledge_Base/?kbnumber=GWKB1101I have no idea what this unit will ultimately be like, how much it will cost or when it will be released. Not advocating for or against it, just passing along a link for people who want to read and listen to what is currentlyavailable regarding the BookSense.I have a Stream and I like it except for the TTS. I like the Double Talk. I fear it will not appear in any future devices and I regret that. I am still using a Book Port for text files, but no idea how long that will last. I joined this list to see if any announcements were made about a new BookCourier. I guess I got my answer.
