Hello I purchased the Book Courier console just over 12 months ago and it has proved to be a very handy resource. However, at the time of purchase there were a couple of bugs inherent in the device i.e. Table of contents did not work and I had some problems with the time features. Could anyone let me know if these problems have been resolved, furthermore would any UK BC user recommend a good size memory card that I could purchase an where it could be brought. Nope the list isn't new. It's been around for at least a year or so. That's how long I've been subscribed at any rate. A few weeks back there was a huge argument on list about batteries. I'm guessing that since then, everyone's been kind of hesitant to say anything, or maybe a bunch of people have unsubscribed. It's good to see people posting again though. A few more features comming out for it and it will be a very excellant device for me. > John > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Tim Grady > To: bookcourier@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Sent: Thursday, June 23, 2005 11:51 PM > Subject: [bookcourier] Re: Book Port > > > I just joined this list last Sunday night and yours is the first message I've seen. > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Claude Everett > To: bookcourier@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Sent: Thursday, June 23, 2005 10:50 PM > Subject: [bookcourier] Re: Book Port > > > well, Humm! > is it just that there isn't any new news with the bookcourier? Or, is it that every one is geting ready to go to conventions, or, have already left or is there just so few subscribers to this list that it's silent ? What's the deal? I haven't gotten any mail on this list since June 18, 05! > Claude Everett > ----- Original Message ----- > From: M Kilburn > To: bookcourier@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Sent: Saturday, June 18, 2005 4:49 PM > Subject: [bookcourier] Re: Book Port > > > and my experience with book courier service has been very favorable and responsive when and if problems arise. > -----Original Message----- > From: bookcourier-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:bookcourier-bounce@xxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Peter Walsh > Sent: June 17, 2005 3:58 AM > To: bookcourier@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: [bookcourier] Book Port > > > Hi There: > > My thanks to all of you who provided comparisons between the Book courier and the Book Port. > > I'm pleased that as a Book courier user it certainly looks like I bought the better product. > > I was also considering purchasing the Book worm from Handiest in Germany, with its Braille output.
