Kurzweil can save files to any of the formats it supports. When you open a
file in Kurzweil, it converts it into its own format, then you can save it
as any of the formats, including DAISY (the text-only DAISY, not the audio
DAISY).

Tim

I don't think Kurzweil will turn a Bookshare .brf file into a daisy file.
You would need to unpick the grade 2 braille first and I don't think
Kurzweil will allow you to save a brf file as a txt file. I could be wrong -
of course!

Yea, I forgot about Kurzweil as I use the Apple now and use a little
utility called Ghostreader to turn my text files into mp3s. I'm not
crazy about any of the SAPI voices though, so even if I had access to
Kurzweil I wouldn't use it, but since Kurzweil can make DAISY files,
can it put the tts to a bookshare book?
