Agreed. This is not the way to treat a loyal customer base. I take back all the supportive things I said last week. It does look as if it is bye bye Spronger now. There is a lot of completition out there and this amateur approach is not going to be a winning one. I have had an order in for the new device for several months now but it looks as if I will have to cancel. It would have been nice for this company to be a bit more forward then keep everyone on hold. I will be passing this info around to friends. Bye bye springer design. -----Original Message----- From: bookcourier-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:bookcourier-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Bud Kennedy Sent: Friday, June 20, 2008 6:18 AM To: bookcourier@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [bookcourier] FW: BookCourier -----Original Message----- From: support@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:support@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, June 19, 2008 8:32 PM To: Bud Kennedy Subject: BookCourier Dear Bud, Regretfully, production of the new BookCourier has been put on hold. This decision was not made lightly. It came down to the simply fact that with the current work load at Springer Design (we are first a design and consulting firm), we would not be able to provide our customers the immediate after sale technical support and the on-going development they deserve. We will be revisiting our production plan monthly and will update you as soon as the situation changes. Steve
