How are you going to access NLS books, though?  Or have you stopped using 
those also?

  Sadly, this is one reason why I have been trying to get myself away from
  access specific hardware.  My phone will do nearly everything the new BC
  would have done, the NLS books will be a work-around though.

  These days, I try to use as much off the shelf tech as possible.  I
  haven't used an OpenBook or Kurzweil in years, why bother when my scanner
  comes with free OCR software.

  I guess this is the impetus I needed to start using other hardware.

  It was good while it lasted.
