Hi, I just wanted to add that I'm having the same problem as Yusuf. I use a wired connection and the default location for recordings on the internal hard drive, and I haven't changed any settings. Did yourecently upgrade Window-Eyes application? Download a fresh copy of Replay AV 8. Just download it but do not run it.Make sure Replay AV 8 is no longer running. Also check your system tray andmake sure its no longer running there. To uninstall Replay AV 8 Copy the schedule8.dat file. Windows Live messenger and Skype were running in the system tray today. The processor is a Pentium (R) D 2.66 2.67 GHZ with 3 GB of RAM. I should say that when I first installed Replay I was able to grab at least 10 programs at once with no problems. This problem simply started inexplicably. I was grabbing 7 items at the time.I tend to record things on a manual basis, I haven't got anything set toautomatically record. Yusuf ----- Original Message ----- From: "Petro T. The hard drive is an internal one not external but I'll give it a go and switch to the main drive. connection is wired. The check box you mentioned is unchecked. When I uninstalled the program, I did it through add remove programsand I'm pretty sure it removed everyhting. I didn't back any files up.I don't recall being asked about shared files during uninstallation. Would it make sense to uninstall everything and manually check that the schedule8.dat file is removed? Some ideas I have here are,1. Try using your main hard drive and not the external hard drive andsee what happens. Secondary hard drive you say and I assume its an external one right?2. Are you using direct connection or wireless connection. It's muchbetter to use direct connection with cable connected to your PC or notebook.3. Did you by any chance change the setting to 'convert faster'? Thisis found by pressing alt+f then choosing settings. Open the other tabsheet and see if the checkbox to convert faster is checked. If it isuncheck this box. 4. When you did the uninstall of Replay AV 8 did you uninstall allcomponents and backup the schedule8.dat file to another place on yourhard drive? The schedule8.dat file contains all your recordings. Theshows and stations that are in your listbox view within Replay AV 8 main interface.5. If you were asked whether or not to remove shared files during theuninstall I always say do not remove these files or keep these files.Basically do not remove such files. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Yusuf" <yusufaosman@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <blindreplay@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, October 12, 2010 5:19 AM Subject: [blindreplay] Replay AV freezingHello, I've been using Replay AV for quite some time to capture streams from the internet. I've had the following problem with mycurrent version 8.82 and the previous version, whose number I don'tremember. During recording the program freezes. My speech (window Eyes 7.2) gives no feedback in the program and when I bring up Windows Task manager Replay is reported to be not responding. When this problem first started I put it down to the number ofstreams I was trying to record at once and so reduced this down to 5or 6. Then my previous version of Replay froze the moment I tried tocapture any stream. That's what persuaded me to upgrade to 8.82 andwhilst I can now capture streams, if I try to capture more than 2 the program freezes consistently.I am using Windows XP SP3 with all the latest updates. I'm recordingon to a secondary hard drive which has 143 GB of free space. I don't know if this has any baring on my problem, but when I installed replay 8.82 I got an error message which said thatsomething had not been uninstalled. I can't remember what that was, but when I started Replay for the first time, the programs that werein the previous version were listed in the new version.Does anyone have any ideas what I can do to sort this out? Its veryfrustrating.
