Sorry this has taken so long to answer, but I have fallen far behind in my
mail.
The .asf files play just fine on my computer. I have not attempted to
change them to another format or play them on a portable player. Do you
know if they work on versions of Media Player which are installed on players
like the Victor Reader stream or the Maestro? Is digital rights management
in the form of pre-encoded DRM the only thing I have to be concerned about?
If so, I'd assume I would not have a problem playing on a portable device,
as I certainly don't digitally protect my own files. <smile>

The .asf files are good aren't they? They playback for you? Do
you listen to the recordings on the computer or on a portable
mp3 player? The reason I ask is those .asf files playback on
Windows Media player. You can changed the extension to .asf to
.wma
The .asf files you have can be converted with Replay Converter
to .mp3 format if needed or to another audio format.
