One feature of eudora that makes it more safe than somme other email clients even with current security is the way it handles attachments by separating attachments from the actual email message. thus you are in control of running an attached file. A good and current antivirus program should give adequate protection.

Take care and happy mailing!

Hey Doris,

I love Eudora. I really do. There's no security updates or anything,
either, and the way people are writing viruses these days, does concern me.
But i have never seen anything like Eudora anywhere.

You take care,

Brenda

Brenda, as long as your screenreader reads Eudora, you can continue
to use it whether or not the screenreader manufacturer supports Eudora.

After all, eudora itself has been abandonware for the last eight
years but still works well and continues to draw new users.*g*

I have never had any help from fs's tech support but have found this
and other tech list very helpful. There are several power users on
this list including the Northen Star and our troublesome list daddy.
*g* While you may look at different email clients, I don't think that
eudora's last days of usefulness have come at all. *g*

Smiles across the miles!
