[blindav] bookshelf speakers and stuff

Hi Guys,
Thanks for all the interesting replies to my query about bookshelf
speakers. Actually I guess powered speakers would not be necessary
since my Onkyo TX8011 claims to have 50 watts per chanel and 20 hz to
20 khz. I guess us new guys are supposed to introduce
ourselves. I'm 92 but my hearing is still pretty good so that's why
I wanted to get some fairly nice bookshelf speakers since I have to
get rid of my big KLH ones since I'm moving into a small converted
garage apartment. I was in the piano businessfor years where I sold
and rented and rebuilt pianos but have been retired for some twenty
years so have a lot of time to listen to music. Sounds like a great
list here and I am going to enjoy it. .
