I strongly agree with one point in this article. That is, democrats seem like
they put way more effort into electing a president than they do when it comes
to electing members of Congress. That’s why they seem to do better in the
presidential elections and do so lousy in the off years.
But, until and unless we can get the leadership of the Democratic party to
spern large corporate donations, I doubt we’ll ever see anything more than lip
service to the real change that is needed to decrease income inequality and to
re-energize a vibrant middle classs which has been hollowed out by 30 years of
wrong-headed policies.
