Hi Charlene, I recommend the OpticBook 3600 or 3800 without any reservations. I wouldn't recommend any other scanner after having had an OpticBook 3600 myself. They run around $250 for the 3600 last I looked. My scanner died yesterday and I just wanted to know if anyone here has any suggestions for scanners to use with K1000. I don't think the Epson scanner that I had is available any longer. I also contacted Kurzweil but they're not testing scanners these days so suggested I stick with Epsons but that was about all the advice they could give. Your help would be much appreciated!!!
