Hi Valerie,
I have seen registered trademarks with the A-circumflex added. It was in a
document from a website which I downloaded in PDF. I don't know why it's
used sometimes, or what circumstances determine it. I agree--it's annoying!

Does anyone know if the copyright and registered trademark symbol always

produce and "A circumflex with them? also, if all Spanish diacritical
marks in
primarily English scans do the same. Nichole (and I agree) find them VERY
annoying, and I want to avoid them if at all possible.
