But I thought you said you moved the numbers of the footnotes. I truly apologize if I got all this wrong.

I've noticed a lot of times they don't scan and I have
to put them in.

In going back to look at the books I've done, it's
only been recently that I learned about, and then have
started to, put the footnote numbers on the line with
the sentence. Before that I superscripted them.
