Nancy, I make them one space no matter what we were taught. Most books are one space and braille flows better without the extra space. Know it is a small thing, but I like smooth reading. I believe, someone correct me here if I am incorrect, please, I think Jake and Pavi said the stripper takes out extra spaces so I would just put in one space just so Mr. Stripper doesn't have to work so hard! Hahahahahahahaha! Only I would worry about Mr. Stripper! By the way, I do medical transcription and some of our hospitals want only one space. Believe me, it is hard to remember to put just one space when typing. When I learned to type, I was told to put two spaces at the end of a sentence. When I'm proofing a book, should I fix it if it has only one or should I find/replace occurrences with two spaces with only one space? Boy, I'm giving myself away as a braille and audio reader.
