Hi Nancy,

The two spaces thing is not done any more in books. And the daisy
converter will remove all extra spaces. So don't waste your energy putting
two spaces after a period. I still put two spaces after a period too. Some
habits don't die!

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] extra spaces

Hi all,
I hope this question will be simple. When I learned to type, I was told to
put two spaces at the end of a sentence. When I'm proofing a book, should I
fix it if it has only one or should I find/replace occurrences with two
spaces with only one space? Boy, I'm giving myself away as a braille and
audio reader. Sorry if this sounds too elementary.
