HI Em,

Unfortunately, last I heard, Open Office isn't properly accessible. Big
bummer!

Hey Sue,

OpenOffice reads and writes .RTF files and it is available for free online.
I don't know if it plays nicely with accessibility software though. But it
may be worth a try before spending money.

Hi Alyssa,

Yes, I do have WordPad and it will open RTF files, but you don't have hard
page breaks. If I could use WordPad I could volunteer again!!! But
Bookshare demands those hard page breaks from us, even though the publishers
do not have to use them.

Hi Sue,

Are you using Windows. Wordpad should be on your computer. It is able to
open rtf files if that is of any help.

Okay, it is back on the checkout page. Please, people, do not think I am
just downloading books to read. I would never do that. It is just that
with this new computer, I cannot find a way to open RTF files. I guess I
will have to buy 2010 stuff.
