As soon as Bud pointed out the solution and mentioning the "yes and no"
thing about storing the saved password,
I realized what had happened, in effect, he was entering a double password
-- the originally stored one plus the password appended upon itself.
So, a word to the wise, always check to see if a field is automatically
filled in as, otherwise, you are only going to experience frustration.
