[bksvol-discuss] Re: Uno libro en español

No captions. Anastasia is talking about a children's
book. That's the problem for me. My Spanish isn't good
enough to describe illustrations in Spanish. If you
can validate the book if she scans it, that would be
super great. She's scanned the English-language book
and says she can get a Spanish-language copy from the
library to scan. The title in English is Mama, Do You
Love Me? I looked it up and my library system does
have the Spanish-language copy. It's about Inuits, and
I think would be a valuable edition to the
booksharecollection.

Did you say you have some vision, or was that someone
else? If your library has a Spanish-language copy and
you're willing to validate it and describe the
illustrations even minimally, that would be great. Or
we can work together. I can validate the text, and if
you can describe the pictures you can send the
descriptions to me and I can insert them. If you're
totally blind, I can send you brief descriptions in
English and you can send them back to me in Spanish.

Maybe the illustrations aren't necessary for enjoyment
of the story. Sometimes they're only illustrative of
the text and don't really add anything. At other times
they do.
