Hi Lori,

I'm glad the fix worked for you! Let's hope everyone can find a way to
solve this issue!

work!

Mayrie, these instructions worked for me with one addition. Before pressing
okay I pressed space on a button which said "replace".
The first time I attempted the change I did not space on the replace button
and when I closed and opened word again, the ellipsis character was back.
After spacing on the replace button and closing and opening word the change
was still there.
I use Window-Eyes and had no problem reading either the replace or delete
buttons.
By the way, I love Word 2002 and use much of what I learned about
proofreading to prepare documents for our church.
Thank you for being so persistant about helping with this fix.

Lori C.
