I agree mary. I see 3 periods in Kurzweil as well.

Hi Shelley,

I have never seen Kurzweil insert the single-character ellipsis. In my
experience, it always interprets them as three periods. I'm certainly not
the last word on all that Kurzweil does, but after scanning thousands of
books, I've never seen that character in Kurzweil. So, I think you don't
need to worry about it.

As to your question, if the character does appear and it takes up only one
space, that is you can pass through the ellipsis with one press of the left
or right arrow, you can paste that character into the find box of the find
and replace dialogue, and type three periods without spaces between them
into the replace box and replace all and you'll be good.

Hope that helps.

Mayrie

These are great.

I wonder if there is a way to change it in Kurzweil without um, making it
worse by say elminating periods or spaces, has anyone made this change.

I just finished a book who had a lot of elipsises.
