They told us recently that we don't have to. the bookshare conversion process
will do that for us (saves a lot of time for us, doesn't it. smile)

If you're working on a scan, or a proofreading job, for that matter, that has
several blank lines at either the top or bottom of pages, should you eliminate
the blank lines, provided it doesn't mess up the page numbering?
