I've validated books where the submitter has done
that, as well as books where I've had to do that.
Unfortunately, I rarely notice or remember the name of
the submitter, and it's not available to me after I've
downloaded, so I can't give credit to the people who
do that, but you know who you are. As far as the
people who don't, I just consider that as a normal
part of my validating. Eliminating this no more
difficult that other fixes.

I gather from previous posts that many validators come
to know who the careful scanners are and download
their books to validate. That's good and will get
books into the collection faster. Because I can get
the print book and am a fairly indiscriminate reader,
I do the opposite and most often take books that are
Fair or Good, because I, too, have noticed that many
Good books are really only fair. smile
