Sorry, Monica, but I do not understand. If the Victor Stream reads files in
audio or voice, how can it benefit Braille users?

Humanware has just announce that the new version of the Victor Stream will
support rtf and brf files. This is great news for those of us who like to
validate without being chained to a desk. This makes volunteering easier and
more portable. Braille users will benefit because they no longer have to get
the daisy version of Bookshare titles to read them on the Stream. Now the
Stream has become worth investing in from my point of view. I had clung to
my Book Port because of its rtf and brf support. The Stream has now
surpassed the old Book Port because it can handle both NLS books as well as
fully supporting everything volunteers do with Bookshare. For those of you
are already using the Stream, you should be able to get the update next
week. Happy reading everyone.
