<lol> Ann. Hundreds of unwanted pages? I remember when that happened, and I thought "there for the grace of God..."

Do you know what caused it, and what we can do to prohibit a massive page foepaw?

Hi all,

Monica, you make me smile. I agree with both you and Lorie. I think if there are page numbers, the book should retain them if at all possible. Hey, usually if you can't get any numbers, I'd just number the pages according to what Word says, or Kurzie says, and if a person wants to cite stuff, usually the actual print page number will be off-set by a given number of pre-text pages like title page and so on. Mine has ten of these, so I know that the number reported by Word should be printed as ten less. In other words, if Word says that I'm on page 98, I'm actually on page 88 of the text. So it makes numbering a bit easier. That's why I got so frustrated with Kurzie adding page numbers to that book on North Dakota I was proofing. I could not keep any consistency and Kurzie added not just two or three blank pages, but hundreds! I'm serious! It was truly awful!
