On Sunday we were forced to stay at home as our road was washed away. The
front yard and driveway is well on its way towards mud season, while the
back which goes up the mountain and is more shaded still has 2 to 3 feet of
snow, even after rain all days Saturday and Sunday, all trying to melt and
make its way into my basement. After mud season, we have Black Fly season
to look forward to in May and June. Oh yes, let us not forget the Black
Bears that are waking up from their winter's slumber and beginning to
wander about!

It is better than those in New Jersey is terrible flooding and if all this "slush" melts off really quick we may have a similar problem.
But I am enjoying the weather and looking forward to going for a walk without slogging very soon.
