Would it make sense to put in "book was not renewed and so expired" instead of the message now given?

Hi Tracy,

We took a look at the Book History for Lord of the Nile and can understand why it's confusing. Here's the explanation for what it means:

The book was not renewed and expired. Which is why it says that Bookshare administration released it. The other two events recorded both happened on January 11th pre-launch during the phase when the Bookshare site was on freeze and the data transfer to the old site was happening. The system located this file and identified it as a book on step 1 and then marked it as a book ready for proofreading on the new site. So basically those two steps refer to part of the transfer process, and not to any volunteer or admin actions. Hope this makes sense. Feel free to write in if you have any other questions.

All good things,
Pavi

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Book History question

Carrie, Pavi, or whoever,
Can you explain what these entries mean in the "View Book History" for
Lord of the Nile?
I'd like to know, for future reference, when I see something similar.
Thanks.

What I don't understand is why it says an administrator released it, why
it says "Validate", and why it says "ready for proofreading". Are these
the equivalents of the old "donedone" and then being returned by Admin for
some reason?
Tracy
