As a psychology student, we used the appendices and
bibliographies quite a bit. It is good information. Many times, authors will place important tables, explanations, divisions, etc. in those appendices. The bibliographies are good sources for further research.

Remember that I may use a bibliography to check out other boks. It may be useful to fix dates for example for publishing info if you think you can tell what is going on. I have books I have downloaded from bookshare which I have not yet read. The info in appendices and bibliographies might be something i'd use as a reference.
