Numbers of some birds at the feeder have doubled in the past 2 weeks. A count this morning yielded 64 mourning doves, 62 goldfinches, 45 juncos, and 27 house finches. These numbers represent the highest number of birds seen at one time at the feeders. There are probably 100 or more goldfinches out there, but it has been a few days since that many were visiting all at once.
