An imm. Red Tail Hawk visited my yard 2 days ago; I expected it to try for one of the many smaller birds at my feeders but he just tried to get food from the suet feeder but wasn't able to get a perch. A Cooper's Hawk was spotted on my walk up the road the same day and yesterday, at dusk, a Barred Owl landed in a tree 20 ft. from our bay window. I hope he visits often to catch our moles!
