Dave Svetich called awhile ago to confirm the presence of a male Common Redpoll at a home on the southeast side of Lexington. I assume he will post more later. Those who receive eBird alerts have been made aware of this sighting, and I believe the location is given in the report. I am busy today and cannot provide any more detail other than the homeowners have had a male and female there for a week or more. I believe Dave said that other visitors will be welcomed, but I have no idea how to contact them at this point. I suspect the eBird report and an internet search of their name and address could yield enough detail to get to the place. I don't know about calling ahead or not, but it might be a good idea at this point. bpb, Louisville ================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBERS============== When posting on BIRDKY, please close posts with your first and last name and your address (city or county). * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * To post on BIRDKY, send e-mail to: birdky@xxxxxxxxxxxxx * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Visit the KOS website at http://www.birdky.org * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Visit the KOS Photo Page to view photos of birds recently sighted in Kentucky: http://www.flickr.com/groups/kentucky_ornithological_society/pool * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * To unsubscribe, send e-mail to: birdky-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject line. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * BIRDKY List Manager: Gary Ritchison.
