All,
I just saw one of the Common Redpolls (maybe the female as it didn't have much,
if any, pink on the breast) with Jeff Sole. Alice was very hospitable to
visitors. She is an avid backyard bird feeder and has a great set up. She lives
no more than 100 yards from me, and I don't think my back yard stands a chance
of luring the Redpoll away. She is welcoming to more visitors. She says folks
can go down her driveway to the back, or you can knock on the door first.
Afternoon sun creates quite a bit of glare, so mornings may be best
particularly for pictures. She lives at 918 Aurora Ave here in Lexington. The
pin on ebird/google was accurate. I can give more detailed directions if anyone
needs them.
