For gull enthusiasts this winter has been a good time to get out and enjoy
the cold, winter weather. A first cycle Iceland Gull (Kumlien's) has been
seen below KY dam. Lesser Black-backed gulls of varying ages are around.
Thayer's gulls have been found in several age cycles.
The number of gulls have diminished with weather changes but there is still
time to get to know the wonder of this species.
There are also many Bald Eagles in the area for those who love
photographing.
