Please cancel now. There is no way this will be better by then, unfortunately.
I’m on the board of the KY Prescribed Fire Council and we just voted to cancel
our annual meeting that was moved from May to September. We need to keep
people safe. I mentioned the success of KOS’ virtual spring meeting and it has
inspired my board to attempt something similar.

Good evening, KOS Board!
I want to hear all of your voices on this one.
I'd planned to wait a bit before asking us to weigh in on the decision to
hold an in-person meeting this fall at Kenlake SRP. This time it's different
from the Spring meeting, where there was a lot more unknowns than there are
now.
I have heard from almost 10 people (some board members, some not) that they
won't come to the meeting even if we held it in person. A few have said they
would go to Kenlake for the weekend even if we don't have the in-person
meeting.
Therefore, I am asking now - should we wait to see what happens with COVID
between now and, say, mid-August? Or should we cancel now?
Thank you all for sharing your opinion on the matter. We need a quorum on
this.
