Cancel now.
The fall promises to be bad, as COVID-19 coupled with the flu will be round
two when we haven’t yet dug out from round one of the virus. We as a
country seem incapable of flattening any curves and the virus continues to
reach new heights despite the HOT weather the WH promised would make it
disappear....poof!
It makes me sad to see KOS cancelled but the reality is we are in this for
a while.

I'd planned to wait a bit before asking us to weigh in on the decision to
hold an in-person meeting this fall at Kenlake SRP. This time it's
different from the Spring meeting, where there was a lot more unknowns than
there are now.
I have heard from almost 10 people (some board members, some not) that
they won't come to the meeting even if we held it in person. A few have
said they would go to Kenlake for the weekend even if we don't have the
in-person meeting.
Therefore, I am asking now - should we wait to see what happens with COVID
between now and, say, mid-August? Or should we cancel now?
Thank you all for sharing your opinion on the matter. We need a quorum on
this.
