Well, we don't need it in trunk, and it would be overridden with any future patches there.
Do you mean they should be moved to a tag, if yes which naming conventions do you suggest? In this case it was a Git commit, so maybe use the commit ID, something like dev-libs-gnulib-0123456? In that case the order would be unpredictable as such hashes .
SVN tags are usually unstructured... (and it's not a branch)It's still in SVN after being deleted on trunk, just not as accessible. We could add a link to the last revision from the Wiki, that would be the best solution I see.
Old PortLog entries should not be deleted either.
I haven't; I've even changed my mind on removing info on outdated Haiku revisions, but we do need some way to keep the Port Log entries readable... Maybe the Wiki allows strike-through text?
