[bcbirdclub] Unusual Yard Bird

The most unusual bird I've seen in my yard is probably this cross-billed  
Eastern Wood-Pewee. I wondered how this bird was even able to survive with  
such a disfigured bill? It was catching insects by grasping the larger 
insects  in the air and then flying to the ground with them, at that point it  
would use the ground as a tool to help it trap, kill, and then  eat the insect.
