As I said in my previous email it still doesn't work even with xiccd 0.2.3

But he uses colord-kde which is broken for other reasons for me, so I really
don't know.

Was the "he" referring to me? If so, both colord-kde *and* xiccd 0.2.3 
failed for me, so there's something in common that's broken. (Although 
as per my earlier post, I'm not sure that I'm using xiccd properly.)
