Dear Ben,
My procedure in RPP is to switch to "Untagged" (RAW RGB 16 bit as output), set
the target colorimetric gamma (I prefer 2.0), set white balance from the
neutral patch, set exposure compensation and black point (compensation for
flare) so that the whitest and darkest patches patches read the target values
(those do not depend on colour space if sufficiently neutral), render, and make
the profile.
