True, but it's a *lot* easier and more convenient...especially if you're using 
the Sun as your illuminant. It moves pretty quickly, thereby changing the angle 
of illumination. If you can swap charts out in a matter of seconds, great...but 
that implies some sort of intelligently-designed rig for holding everything. If 
you need to re-align and re-focus and make sure you don't bang the chair the 
target is balanced against and all the rest of the stuff people who don't do 
this for a living have to deal with, it'll be a few minutes between shots and 
the Sun will have moved and your exposure will have changed and the ratio 
between sunlight and skylight will have changed, and more.

In the studio, of course, that's not a problem. Take all day, and everything 
should be the same.
