Hi All, It turns out to be my mistake as a result of a parameter change of dispcal regarding -p and -P. In versions 1.0.4 and before -p 0.5,0.5,2 would affect the placement and size of the measurement patch. As of version 1.1.0, -p has a different meaning and -P (capital) should be used to adjust the measuement patch. This change in parameters use was not documented in the changelog. I suggest to add it, at least on the website as it might prevent others from being confused like I was. Cheers and thanks for the great software, Luud On Fri, Jan 22, 2010 at 7:27 PM, Luud Heck <luud.heck@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: > Hi everybody, > > I just tried the new v1.1.0 on my new iMac to calibrate my second screen, > but I have no success: > > $ dispcal -y l -d 2 -p 0.5,0.5,2 -v -g 2.4 -O Dell3008WFP_Custom_B32 -o > Dell3008WFP_Custom_B32 > Need projection measurement capability, > but instrument doesn't support it > dispcal: Error - new_disprd() failed with 'Instrument Access Failed' > > Version 1.0.4 did not have this problem.
