Mike, Check the fill objects for density, stitch length and underlay. Too many stitches and too long of stitch will cause puckering. Underlay should run the opposite direction of the top stitches to minimize the pull of the fabric. Also check the density and underlay for the bordering columns. If editing the design doesn't completely resolve the issue then look at increasing material thickness.
