Okay I will try that and my network was down and that is why we are = transefering with the diskette. So I take it that if I transfer thru the = network I will not need the dongle to get it to work. HI Bebe, You would use the Network to transfer designs between the 2 computers = and=20 the 2 different software programs. > Thank you for the advice and that was how it was set up. How then do I = =3D > transfer the digitised software to the other running the machines ? Do = =3D > we use the network to transfer or use diskettes ??? One Dongle should be for Design Shop, and the other Dongle should be = the=20 Amaya software Dongle. The Design Shop Dongle should be on the computer = that=20 you are going to use for digitizing and making designs, and the Amaya = Dongle=20 should be on the computer that will be running the machine(s). You = should=20 not have to move them back and forth? >Then when we get the computer running the machines to accept the = designs=20 >and tried to run it =3D > it would not go until we remove the dongle from the digitising machine = =3D > and fix it to the computer running the machines. On the computer = running =3D > the Amayas i have an USB dongle and what is that for ? It sounds as though something is not quite right? Jeff Banks Melco Embroidery Systems
