I got the max watts from the machine specs. I'm not an electrician either. I am concerned with power outages and fluctuations in current. I don't know if the fluctuation in current is bad for the machines or not. I might call Melco and talk to a tech. Thanks for your input...I'm probably going to have to buy two of the 1500v APCs.
